Gazing boldly at the band he knew death would greet him in a matter of moments, but Twas in his blood to die gallantly. Thoughts drift to Father. Wonder is made about him then heartache gripped his throat as he saw the soul of his father among the band; yet he was different. It seemed he was trying to break from the spiritual force that held him with the band. Shifter wondered if he would also be forced to join the band. Shake of dial is given. He would never give up, for besides his father’s strong blood, he had the blood of his fearless mother. Nod is given to the leader. ”Yes… I am ready… to be free.” He smirked. The leader of the band eyed his carefully then the sprits laughed in chorus. He speaks bravely to us like his father yet is foolish to thin that he too can take us down like Fire Cry. Taking a deep breath, Shifter stepped forward and stood gallantly, ready to fight. Glance is made toward his father along with a slight nod. Surprisingly his father returns the nod against the force of the spirits. Shifter smiled, the same smile that was on his face as he took that final look at his loved ones on the outside. He regretted just one thing… not being able to be with Lightning longer. Otherwise… he was ready for this. Ready for the battle of the century!
