The young stallion enters the area sniffing the snow and snorting lowly in approval. He moves under a tree and lies down. He didn't know what his life was anymore. He felt like his guiding light had burned out. His soul held scars too deep to know who he really was. He sits watching others looking for the grass under the snow with lazy eyes. He wondered what could ever fill the space his mother had left so empty.
