Hahaha!! How true is that!

>1. Scott Savage (w/ Starla) vs. Lincoln Steen (w/

>Good little match with great pace. Steen was sloppy
>in the early going but makes for a great comedic heel.
I agree. He might be better suited as a face with his comedy though.

>I hope that these guys get more time in the future.
This was a typical "young guns" match. Two young, talented, but somewhat green guys giving it their all. The result is a good but somewhat sloppy product. Still, I enjoyed the match.

>2. Duke MacIssac vs. Johnny Wiseguy (w/ Rachel) (**)

>Wiseguy comes straight from the AWA 70s heel textbook.
I LOVE Wiseguy`s stalling! I`m just a sucker for generic heel tactics, they crack me up. The stalling with the sunglasses, the calling for timeout, I love it all! Wiseguy is great at getting heat.

>I see a
>lot of potential in Rachel as a R.A.W. personality but
>I wonder why they would rush a face turn so quickly?
I agree, especially since Sara (or Starla? not sure) is a face as well... there should be an even mix of managers, and if there isn`t, there should be more on the heel side.

>3. Vance Nevada (w/ presumably beefy goodness) vs.
>Eddie Watts (w/o stick) (**)

>>Watts wins it with his patented middle-of-second-rope
>legdrop. Decent match that would have been better if
>Watts had gotten more offense in before the win.
I didn`t think that this was a ** match- and that`s no fault of Watts. I was really impressed with him as a heel last year, he was great at slowly building the match up to a quick pace, and his offense would improve as the match goes on.
Of course, the heel carries the offense in most matches- but Nevada doesn`t have much offense, and he doesn`t generate the cheap heat like Wiseguy does.

>4. Madman Williams vs. Mike Hughes (***)
I was really impressed with this match. It was one of the best I`ve seen in the NSCF in a while.

>Two years and several pounds later...
I think that Wildman has lost most of his weight (still some surplus pounds there though) but Chi Chi is still pretty big.

>5. Wildman Williams vs. Chi Chi Cruz (w/ Smoking Skull
>ripoff belt) (** 1/2)

>That's
>great but it'd have more heat on it if you let the
>Cruz victory stand.
I agree.

>Decent show that can keep everyone interested and
>coming back. On the negative side, though, I thought
>the booking was sloppy.
I agree.
