One of the great things about following a particular independent wrestling promotion is getting to see the young guys who are coming up in the business improve. I remember Bobby Rude being a very "vanilla" worker, so to speak, when he started out.
Two years later, he was working the crowd like a pro, and putting on excellent matches.
I don`t think that Duke has reached Rude`s level as a worker, but he has been improving every time I have seen him in the ring. It seems that he has really worked himself into shape during the offseason, and yes, his finishing move is quite impressive.
I look forward to more development from Duke in the near future.
