I don`t really mind Lane, but he was getting overpushed there for a while. I guess it was good that he got the wins because now he can elevate older talent.

I find that Lane is a "carryable worker", meaning this matches are usually as good as his opponent- fortunately, he`s one of the carryable workers that can work a good match against another carryable worker.
This is due to what Davey said, his great shape.
Lane shouldn`t be a main eventer at RAW, but he is good for opening card matches. The crowd usually gets into the show when you start with an old school match.
BMN suggested that Lane may work better as a heel with all the restholds, and I think that may be a decent experiment.
