Subject: GPW retro results from one year ago

This is a review I did during last summer's GPW tour; I play a much more nasty heel writer than I do now. I would call myself the Eddie Ellner of 2000:) Enjoy.

GPW JUNE 11TH/00 North Sydney

1. Tommy Valentine vs Todd the Bod **3/4

A couple of blown spots here and there, an average opener. Todd magically has gotten rid of his bitch tits. Emile must have sent him to his favourite Veterinarian. Is it just me or was Tommy 10 times better in RAW???

2. �Maddog� Stan Neilson vs Bobby Rude **1/2

Stan Neilson uses his foul language to harass the little children again. He also gets more cheap heat by harassing the Surf Baron and the �blind guy�(that was just mean). Stan also rubs his nipples during the match while looking over at our section....ewwww. He was a nice guy though, after the card. Did I just pull a Janus(see 94� WWF magazines). Bobby Rude pulls off some really nice moves and has potential but screws up an equal amount of spots(damn another Janus). Why they are calling Stan Maddog, I do not know.

3. The Beast vs Rick Valentine Jr. DUD

This match ended with an elbow drop enough said. DUD, major DUD.

4. The Cuban Assassin vs Big Al the Godfather DUD

�Can I have a small fries, small onion rings, and a coke please?�

5. Bobby Rude/Todd the Bod vs Stan Neilson/Tommy Valentine **1/2

Neilson comes out wearing a �keep Alberta rat free T-shirt� that he probably purchased at the Value Village for 50cents. A pretty good match but nothing spectacular.

6. �Wildman� Austin(champion) vs �The Texas Tornado even though I�m from East LA� Chi Chi Cruz *

This was our main event and boy what a piece of shit it was. All of you marks for both of these guys can whine to the hills about how this match was pretty good. A 5 minute leg lock??? Two half decent spots, and a some hardcore stuff. The hardcore stuff was kind of cool, but still what
a big disappointment. If Chi Chi wants to get his break he better work a bit harder(unless he�s pulling off 4 star matches in Cheticamp:)

NOTES:

*I noticed there wasn�t one sign in the entire building.
*Rene Dupre was missing in action.
*Some punks stole our seats!!!
*Overall the show was average, but with two duds and a craptastic main event you have to think
is this worth ten bucks?
