Solace blinked a few times in surpirse, then her face contorted into a fit of rage again, going reder then before. She gripped her guns firmly, but hesitated to shoot. The thought that the gun fire might attract more people then she wanted crossed her mind, so instead she holstered her guns and ran forward after Virgil with a grunt.
But as soon as she took off forward, she found herself falling backward, landing flat on her ass. She rubbed her head, slightly dazed by the sudden shock.
"What...the fuck..."
Solace lifted herself from the floor, then reached out with one hand. Suddenly it came into contact with what seemed like an invisble wall. For a moment Solace had no idea what to make of it, then she snapped her fingers as the sudden realization hit her.
"He's a damned telepath...thats what Toise must have wanted to tell me...fuckin psychers...."
With a mummble under her breath, Solace took a few steps back from the barrier. A krillian barrier wasnt her idea of fun trying to penatrate, but it wasnt immpossible with her transformer. She built up the gravity transformer to a maximun level. The weight being placed on her at the moment slowed her down quite a bit, a normal human under such pressures would easily be crushed like a tin can. Solace made her way forward, slowly trying to push her way through the barrier. The transformer could help block most TK effects, so if her calculations were correct she would beable to get through the barrier by deflecting it from her.
Seconds later Solace broke through, nearly dropping to her knees as she returned her gravity to normal. Sweat trickled down her face as she cought her breath, then she looked up to see if Virgil was in sight...but he wasnt. Switching to infra red vision, Solace sprinted forward. As she ran forward, she cought a glimpse of a figure moving ahead of her. With an angerd grin, Solace kicked in her speed reactor, flying forward at an extreme speed.
In a matter of seconds, Solace cought up to Virgil, but just as she did her reactor died out and she started to slow up.
"FUCKING HELL!!"
Solace reached for one of her blades as she came up behind Virgil, getting ready to aim for a not so vital organ.
