OOC: The blood stuff was an oil substance, since Solace is a Cyborg it is the equivilent of human blood to her. Sorry for the confusion >_>;;
By the time the med's had retrieved her body and shipped her off to the med center, Solace had slipped into what some Cyborgs such as herself refer to as the 'living death'. It's a state where the cyborg's systems, which make up the entire body, shut down completely except auto repair systems, to keep from furthing anymore damage. Though, in this state, all senses are still active.
During the half hour the Cyber-surgeons (which Solace was surprised to see on such a crap ship) worked on her chest plate and heart, Solace found she was at a strang sort of peace. No thoughts, just darkness, the one thing she found comfort in. Though she could hear everything around her, she did her best to block it all out, she wasnt even aware that Leon had graced the room with his pressence.
The Cyber-surgeons worked along with the auto repair systems, and soon it was all over. One of the doctors noticed Leon and, assuming that he must be a friend of the little girl, walked up to him to give him the details.
"She'll be alright. I was actually surprised myself that the blast that hit her didnt destroy her systems instantly, she is one very advanced, and lucky, cyborg. The chest plate took the brunt of the force which saved her life, though the heart was damnaged some as well. But the auto repairs did most of the work with that, but the chest plate was to badly damaged and was replaced. She lost a lot of blood though, we are still replacing it but it shouldnt take to much longer."
The doctor placed a hand on Leon's shoulder and patted him slightly.
"You can go in and see her now, but she is in a state of shut down...kinda like a comma if you will. But it wont last long, her systems should start up again soon."
The doctor smiled slightly, then turned to leave, but before he walked out of the room he turned to Leon with a seriouse expression.
"I just wonder who would shoot a little girl like this....it's quite a shame."
With that the doctor left the room, leaving Leon by himself in the meds room.
