A loud explosion startled serendipity a bit…she stumbled back and looked around in a slight panic. A large crowd had fled from where the grenade had landed, luckily though, the explosion ended up taking place just enough feet away for it not to cause any damage to Guile or the others.
“Oh, my…god…what is going on?” Serendipity gulped and turned her attention to Virgil, whose energy had just been downed by one of the silhouette jumpers. Neither Leon or Solace were in view, but they were still in danger of these creatures since they seemed to travel quickly and almost unnoticeably. Then, the sudden outbursts of screams and shouts coming from opposite direction caught Ser’s eye. A rather brave, baldish looking man had Sergio, her former employer in a chokehold, threatening to puncture his back with what seemed a dagger.
“This is way too much to handle…ARGH!! Take care of Sergio and his goons…then help the others with those…er…weird things,” in a huff, Serendipity ran away from Dugan and back through the mobs over to Guile and the group of Sergio’s employees.
“THERE SHE IS!!” shouted a woman, pointing at Serendipity’s ever increasing form, “SHE’S COMING THIS WAY!!”
With grace and pizzazz of a feline, Serendipity leapt over the woman, landing right behind her, just before delivering a crushing blow to her head, “Forgive me…” she murmured, while flipping over her next target, sweeping him off his feet with a low kick, “I really don’t want to do this…” swiveling around, she was greeted by the man who was previously speaking to Leon. Quickly, he swung his pipe just over Serendipity’s shoulder, but she batted it out of the way as if it were a fly the moment her fist glowed that familiar heavenly blue, “But you all are being retarded…” her hand then returned back to its original state as she backhanded another woman, just about to grab Serendipity from behind.
The other employees chased after Leon, and Sergio struggled vainly against Guile’s grip as sweat glistened his face in the aftermath of the explosion and grunted, “Yea…I understand you, just let go of me!!”
“Erhm…” Ser politely cleared her throat with a dainty hand over her mouth, “Nice work…” she complimented Guile, “Do me a favor…” her eyes went from frantic and hysterical, to cool and calm, “Hold him really tight…” She then went on to cracking her knuckles, “I have a few bones to pick with you…”
“Number…ONE!!” her fist soon made contact with Sergio’s left cheek, “That’s for not giving me any personal days…num-ber…TWOOOO!!” now there was a small stream of blood running down his right cheek, “That’s for never paying me over pay…and, numero TROIS!!” Serendipity punched Sergio in the jaw bone, creating a menacing cracking noise as her knuckles clashed with his bone, “AND THAT’S FOR STARING AT MY BREASTS!!” Finishing off the large man, she kicked him fiercely to the ground and delved her ankle into his stomach, “Adieu…” she winked mischievously and walked off in the direction Leon was being chased and where the shadow creatures started to reek havoc.
