A little further then a block down from the alley, Solace came to a sudden stop before the Sector-Entrance 4-93V doors that lead into the docking bay. With a grin of satisfaction on her face, Solace walked forward toward the entrance, feeling a sense of freedom and releif sweep over her.

But before she took more then two steps, a sudden yellow light began to flash overhead above the doors, signaling an emergency lock-down. Solace stared at the light for a moment before her eyes narrowed sharply in anger.
Damn it...tricky bastards...

Without thinking twice, Solace dashed forward, using whatever speed she had left, hoping to make it past the doors before they shut totally.

Only a few seconds more and Solace would have cleard the doors completely, but before she got the chance two large Mech's took up positions in front of the closing doors, totally blocking her way.

Solace came to a skidding hault right before the Mechs causing her to fall backwards on her ass. She gazed up at the large mechs, then gulped hard slowly backing away from the Mechs in the crab-walk style untill she got to the alley way once more.

Solace stood within the concealing shadows of the alley, keeping a sharp on on the docking bay doors. She heard an explosion off in the distance and for a moment thought back to the others, but she quickly dismissed those thoughts and turned her attention back to the task at hand.
No way I can get around those two...maybe if there was just one...shit...why am I always the one ending up getting screwed over...it's like a fucking curse...
