Dugan and Avon had reached a suitable position for mass destruction. The creatures had followed them down an alley with no exits. Dugan and Avon were against a wall while the creatures were about 200 yards from the street. Neither man made a sound as the shadows whisped towards them.

"Give it a second," Dugan whispered to Avon. "I'm gonna try and keep the walls around us standing, but no promises so watch your head."

With that Dugan let loose a barage of shots from his carbon based pistol. The foundations of the two buildings surrounding the shadows disappeared blast by blast. Windows shattered, sending a flury of glistening shards to the ground. Dugan's gun continued to fire until a soft click indicated an empty clip. The walls vibrated and began to crack, sending supports and sheets of metal flying across the alley. Dugan and Avon dove into a convenient dumpster as a table fell from a whole in one of the buildings. The alley shook and the buildings crumbled. The shadow creatures, having nowhere to run fell victim to debris. When the chaos subsided Dugan peaked out to survey the damage. Half of the buliding on the right was missing, exposing it's innerds to the rest of the space station. The left building was completely toppled.

"I suggest we find another place to hide. We're going to have some explaining to do."
