(OOC... Oops. I'm still a bit lost, so if I screw up, don't hesitate to tell me so. Additionally, Faye said she had writer's block this weekend, and wonlt be posting tuntil next weekend...OOC)
Kholas sniffed the air. He had instantly gotten lost as soon as the group took off, and had taken to wandering around at random, trying to pick up on their scent.
He had spent quite a bit of time doing this, when he picked up on an entirely new scent. It didn't seem right to Kholas. It didn't fit anything he knew, and that bothered the small, distant part of his brain that was actually thinking.
Kholas metamorphosed into his wolf form and tore off at high speed, trying to track this oddity. He soon found it, after running into a semi-corporeal shadow creature.
"Rrrr....?" Kholas asked.
The shadow creature knocked him out of the way.
Kholas howled and tried to rip the thing's throat out, only to be thrown to the ground and knocked him again, leading to unconsciousness this time. As the result of his last conscious thoughts, his fur melted away and Kholas returned to his human aspect.
The shadow considered this for a moment. It nudged Kholas' still body with one foot, and he groaned.
The leaper picked him up by the scruff of his neck and held the werewolf away from its body as it carried him. Kholas simply hung limply, bleeding from the corner of his mouth.

The creature deposited its catch on the cargo bay floor and vanished. Kholas groaned again, and rubbed his forehead.
"Wha....?" he said groggily.
