Just before the device was latched onto her neck, Serendipity swung a fist which was now glowing a bright, heavenly blue. It made contact with the side of Virgil's face and the impact caused the collar to drop to the ground with a loud clang. Removing the other hand from behind her head, Ser drew her sabre and slashed at Virgil's neck in a frightenly quick blur. It looked as though she had penetrated through his jugular, but instead his collar too fell to the floor fizzling and sputtering, sliced delicately down the middle without a stratch eminent on the young man.

Not hesitating to retract the beam of light, Ser slid the hilt of the sabre back into her bootleg, her hands still emitting the blue glow. Again it began to grow, and even though she knew it was going to drain her of almost all of her remaining life energy, Ser let the light consume her whole body as it slowly crawled from her hands up her arms and to the rest of her form. The time she would be able to stay in Cantaka would now be less than three minutes due to her recent flare up twenty minutes ago in an attempt to escape the shadow creature that had captured her. Though in this state if anything touched Serendipity it would either melt or disisintigrate completely.

The spell was already taking toll on her energy and Serendipity could literally feel her life being leeched. Despite this she lunged foward through the air at one of the captains on-rushing goons and in a tight cirle she pivoted around, aiming a high spinning kick at the man's head.
