Solace rolled her eyes at Leon's comment, gripping onto the pin of the grenade tightly.
"I AM calling you old, old man..."
With that she pulled the pin after the countdown and tossed the grenade swiftly into the circular room, hitting the core dead center.
Before the grenade had even cleared past the window into the room, Solace had already bolted out the door along with Leon, quickly heading back the way they had come to the elevators.
But as they ran, and as the explosions of the grenades went off behind them, loud ear peircing alarms went off overhead as all the lights in the building went red.
Solace stopped for a moment, glancing upwards at the red lights, then grimmaced and looked at leon sternly.
"We dont have much time, those are the security lock-down warning lights..."
In a flash, Solace took off once more, making a mad dash to the elevators. But to her dismay, once they had arrived the doors were already sealed shut. Solace kicked the door sharply in a vain attempt to open them, then turned around swiftly to look at Leon again.
"Now what the fuck do we do?! If these doors are sealed, then that means that the guards probably have all the exits in this area sealed as well!"
Solace growled, then turned back around and kicked the elevator doors sharply again, making a slight dent, but nothing that would prove usefull.
"Goddamn it...there has got to be another way out of here..."
