Leon listend closly to Solace as she responded, "If you were just a scrap heap, how could you make a choice? Wouldn't you be following some sort of program and then your work would be done for ever. I'm just a machine made of tissue, programed by a person I don't even remember, made to kill. If you can make a choice then you have to be more then just a machine. I still don't believe that you are any less then what you say you are.." He stops himself, and sighs, "Ok I'm not going to stop you, if you want to leave now, go ahead." The trip to the docking bay will take about 5 more minutes.
And he forgot about Ser again, and then replys quickly, "Ok Ser, first I'll tell you a few things. The joysticks control the hands, and the buttens infront of you control different things for your mech. To turn on the lights, there should be a bright red butten in the mess of buttens infront of you. Press it." He waits for a minute so she can find it, "Ok, after that, the buttens along the joystick control different weapons. The top buttens are porbably missiles or guns, whichever your mech has. The ones along the side fire secondary and not as strong weapons, better for when you want to conserve your supply, and when you know that your main weapons are not required to win a battle. Then next, if your screen isn't already on, press a bright blue butten, usualy located on the top row of buttens infront of you." Another pause, "If you have that taken care of, if you want to run a diagnostic on your weapons and see what you have to fight with, press a black butten along the bottem row, and your screen will flash infront of you the weapons systems. This will help you with a mech you are unfamiliar with, or when your not sure how much your supplied with. Ok, anything else you need to know? Oh a quick point, some mechs require a lot of strength to move the joysticks, so be careful, and they are very sensitive." With that, he waits for her to reply.
