And Guile was still unconscious, lying flat on his stomach with a rather large machine next to him. Tubes going into various veins were feeding nutrients, medicine, pain killer, and various chemicals to stimulate the healing process. A medic paged Thuro.

"Sir, Guile will be fine in a couple of days. If you want him back into the thick of things any sooner, I would recommend you ask if anybody in the group has healing powers."

Thuro rose from his chair, and strolled towards the door. He looked back at his pilots. "Get us clear of this planet's gravity, then set a course for the nearest space station. I believe it would be Station XCL 145 - A. Make a jump there."

As Thuro walked out of the bridge towards his dining hall, the ship lurched slightly as it started ascending, leaving behind the icy waste land forever.
