A little beep on the computer let Iori know that all the photosensitizing agents had done their work and had all been converted into some chemical or another. That was Iori's signal to switch off the UV lamps. The power needed to run them could be used for other things. Just then a mechanical voice sounded over an intercom system.
Master Iori, an unknown biological has entered our recall facility. While its size would indicate that it is of little destructive potential, there exists a possibility that it might interfere with operations here.
Iori shrugged. "Probably just some back-alley creature. Pay it no mind, it'll starve to death eventually."
As ordered.
Iori turned his attention back to his five guinea pigs. He had worked on all of them except for one. Solace. He wasn't entirely sure what he should do to her. He walked over to her table and removed the gag, bearing the latest string of insults and death threats. With a little zap from the stud on the back of her neck, Solace was out like a light. Iori noticed the various damages that she had sustained, presumably from her confrontation with the drones. And she was missing an eye. More correctly, her left was damaged, and had to be replaced(thanks to Leon). Before he could do anything to her, Iori would have to totally repair her. No big thing.
Back to the console he went, and even more commands were typed. From the ceiling, a large metal box, just the size of the table Solace was one, lowered down over it. Immediately, thousands of small arms went to work repairing the damaged circuitry and parts. Her eye was even replaced with an exact copy. This one was different though. It would remain the same color as Solace's other eye, but when it was one, it would glow red. It was capable of switching from a normal field of vision to infra red, EMP, and metal detector.
