After the UV lights had been shut off, Serendipity returned to her normal state, breathing quite heavily. Though the sound of her own breath was muffled by the ruckus of Leon and Glenn, who were finally able to break free from their restraints. Not knowing exactly how they were able to break free, Ser scanned the room, trying to look for her own way to escape. She did see Naoko though, who was now unconscious…”That can’t be good…oi vei, why now?!” Her own restraints seemed to be a little looser, and the artificial paralysis had diminished after coming into contact with Serendipity’s Cantaka flare up. A small knob could still be felt in the back of her neck, but it could easily be healed…”I just don’t like the fact that I’m constantly getting into situations where I am forced to heal myself, like every ten minutes. Not cool.”
It was now the perfect opportunity to finally break free, Iori was distracted by the two escapees, allowing Serendipity to gang way. She moved her left leg, jogging the clip holding her in a bit…seeing it’s flimsiness, Serendipity was able to rip her leg out of it. A few moments later, Ser was off the table and on the floor, checking every few seconds to make sure Glenn, Leon, and Iori were still occupied. The weapons of the group were stored away in a glass door cabinet, “Ha…easy access, I like that…” she said grinning, kicking the glass of the door.
Suddenly, alarms and lights started to about the lab. Screaming in shock, Serendipity carelessly swiped the various weapons, and spilled them across the floor. Only stopping to pick up her own weapons, Serendipity hustled back over to Solace and Naoko, still attached to the tables. She took out her LXM78 and closed her eyes while aiming the barrel of the gun at the restraints of Solace, “If I singe ya…forgive me…” The bright yellow blasts were accurate, and surprising right on target. After the sparks settled down a bit the clips holding down Solace were no where to be found…”Your turn…” she said, turning to the still blacked out Naoko. Doing the routine that she had done to free Solace, Serendipity reholstered the gun and ran closer to him, “Dude…WAKE UP!!” she yelled, lightly tapping his cheek, using her free hand to heal the back of her neck.
