And Virgil's trick did work. With a few crackling sounds and the crunch of metal, the swarm of insect sized drones was reduced to a crumpled ball of metal the size of a basketball. It fell to the ground with a clang. If one looked closer, you could see parts of it moving, where some of the drones hadn't been destroyed, merely crunched together, unable to fly or do anything other than stab at the air with therr stingers.
