The massive black stallion thundars into the pasture. It had been so long since he was able to run free. His energy seemed to increase with his new freedom in the pasture. He raced around the field. From one end to the other coming dangerously close to each fence in his play. It took over an hour of anxious close calls with a fence for him to settle in again. He started pacing again, it had grown habit with being cooped up for so long. He would start grazing in one spot. After a minute or two he would just have to stop and start pacing again before starting to graze again. His tail twitched anxiously. He just could stay still. It may be to late for him. Only time would tell.
