Subject: Win Up to $100 in Holiday Writing Contest

That's right! You can win up to $100 in The Cynic Online Magazine's first annual Not So Cynical Christmas writing contest.

My name is John Blackemire Editor-In-Chief of The Cynic Online Magazine (www.cynicmag.com). We're not a paying publication and not a business (at this time) -- but starting this year, we are running a creative writing contest open to anyone with a US mailing address except our staff (Entrants under the age of 18 need parental consent). The grand prize is a $100 in our long piece category with a $50 second place prize and a $25 third place prize. In the short works category, we have a $50 first place prize and two $25 second place prizes. The topic is "Not So Cynical Christmas," and we are running the contest as a means to boost the confidence of the writers who participate in the contest.
