Subject: Looking for a Few Friends

I lived at 106-22 Farragut Road in the 50's and early 60'S. Looking for Eileen Cappetta, Mariam Tortorella, Richie Ahern, Joe Lewis, Marvin and Kenny Markman to name a few.
I remember Curly's barber shop, Charlie the ice cream man, Charlie the housing cop and hanging out in the community center on Glenwood Road. To me it was a great place to grow up.
Anyone that has information on these good friends would like to hear from you or them.

My mom moved to 106-12 in 1957 and is still there. My dad was Charlie the NYPD cop. We lived on the second floor.

Gwen,
I lived on the first floor, Apt 1B. You had brothers named, Joe and Gary and the rest slip my mind. Joe was my best friend and his bed room faced the parking lot, right?. Contact me via email. Would like to hear from either of you.

Take care, Eddie

Christine,
Nice to hear from you, not sure if I knew you, but your father kind of kept me out of trouble in the projects.
We lived right over the police department location. Still rememebr playing on the grass, but as soon as your dad walked arond the corner, we had to jump over the chains......and make like we were doing nothing, Yea right.......
I took my kids to the projects a few years ago to show them where I grew up......I loved growing up there.
Take care, Eddie
