Subject: We support you Nicki more so now than ever before

I kept meaning to get password to get on this board and now am glad I did.

I first and foremost want all of our sister and brother Nockouts to know that at Royal Elegance, Nicki and myself were victims of someone wanting to make a bigger deal out of nothing. Nicki and I were sitting together only discussing cute moves, great proammers, costumes etc. It is not secret that my 13 year old, now under contract until July with Little Miss NC, will be doing some proam pageants once she is relieved of her duties with her current title. We are very excited about being with Nicki and venturing into new waters as she cannot go back to any Little Miss titles because of her winnings. Melissa is very new to pageants only 1 1/2 years experience and we are trying to learn as much as we can in the proam circuit to help her get a good start. Nicki and I were only critiqing moves and outfits. Nicki's comments were to brag on the girl I don't know these people and Nicki didn't go into anything that may have previously happened, she wanted me to see how good this girl was in proam and that is all. I do sew, I am no Judy Burton and Bobby Pressley, LOL. I am amazed at what they can do, however, I can do some things, casual, interview, possibly my own daughters sportswear. With two girls into proam, you have to cut costs and I am looking into making my 13 yrs old sportswear. I liked the ruffles that the little girl had on and commented on how full they were, I didn't especially like the stripes in the bodice and felt that with the ruffles something different needed to be placed there, Nicki stated sometimes stripes are placed to make one look thinner, I said I would do something different with them. Ladies, honestly, that was all that was said and you see the most bitter catfight from that. I have heard people saying things about other girls at Royal Elegance, I promise you it wasn't Nockouts saying it either. I didn't pay any attention to it because I know people have their own opinion on things. You just have to be very duck like and let it wash off your back. I have had to experience it when cruel things are said about my girls. The comments that were made of the little girl was not in any way defametory of any sense and I certainly didn't take it or make it in that way. It was a terrible experience and I don't feel that any of us should go to pageants, walk on eggshells and not be entitled to positive honest opinions. This is paranoia at it's greatest. My friend Christina called to see how things went and I told her what had happened, she then told Renee McNair and Renee is friends with KS. It is unfortunate how what you say is misconstrued, even how it is told to deliver the message in a different flair. I sent message to board only to try to bring sense and reality to it all, however, my post was erased and it was a positive post. I can tell you in the past 7-8 months, I have never heard Nicki defame or bash any of her students nor any other child for that reason and I go each week religiously, sometimes twice week before competition. I have enjoyed so much meeting all of our new pageant friends and nockouts. MaKenzie and I look for your banners on the bravo and other boards and we are quick to post congrats and best wishes. All of us can be proud of what are girls have done and what Nicki is doing for them to make them into the queens they are. My girls cannot wait until the next visit and their next pageants.

We will be competing more in Aug/Sept once Melissa is ready, I have my son graduating from High School and college entrance responsibilities taking place now. We hopefully can slide in a small pageant here and there until Sept. Melissa will be giving up her title on July 27th, if any of you can come, we'd love to have you help us cheer her on her last song. Thanks for being there, nice emails and phone calls. All of this has only encouraged me to work harder for my girls and to cheer each and everyone of you on the way a family does.

See you all soon!!
Cordially
