Why not? It is a gathering of dog people. I figured they, of all people would understand.

Well, the dog goes everywhere with me. She is my work companion. It is far away enough be an overnight stay, and she is a good traveler. She likes motels. So many motel companies are so easy to deal with now-a-days.

Plus, it is a good chance to bone up on socialization and manners. She is usually around large groups of people, and it will be good for her to see other dogs (her own size) and see how they behave.
