Betty, I too share in your frustration. When we were researching the breed we had the same feeling. There is way to much criticism on the board and bashing. It does get sickening after a while.
One comes to these types of boards hoping to find information and instead often finds themselves right in the middle of a soap opera. You find yourself asking..who can you trust? What is right..what is wrong? I think healthy debating is great and we can learn from one another, but sometimes it does get way out of hand.
I can only speak from my own experience. We purchased Nala from JB. Although we had a rough start (as you've probably read by now) she is a very healthy, happy Boerboel. I still stick by JB and believe that he is a great source of knowledge and is valuable to the BB breed. Others may say what they want, but like I said, our personal experience with him has been one I don't regret and would recommend him as a person to look into if you are interested in a BB.
Feel free to email me if you'd like.
Best of luck with your research on the breed. You'll know when you've found the perfect dog for you and when you do, make sure you share your stories and pictures with us all!
Angela
