I am sorry you have been so offended and I am sorry that you have forgotten the trauma you and Nala went through with the demodex. What breeder wouldn't be supportive after selling you a pup that went through the problems you have had...otherwise he might have been asked to replace her?

I agree that something on a more positive note would be pleasant to see on this board. It seems to me that it has become nothing more than another Advertise-for-Blackwell forum. I've seen this same thing happen..message board after message board. You would think that he and supporters could limit themselves to his USBA message board and the still-active NABC message board.

I have taken time to question JB and the fact that he is breeding dogs with demodex. I question his attitude about the disease...and frankly, I don't have any reason from past experience to believe anything he says. If you get a Shumba pup from him, it might be a good idea to ask him to give the University of Pennsylvania permission to give you their copy of his hip test before you buy a pup. At least that way you will know you are getting true information.

I have lots of fun with my dogs..they are all like individual children with different personalities. I just really don't have time between work, treatments, and taking care of them all...including quality time with each of them..to sit down and tell sweet stories on message boards. But all my dogs are my pets...and like kids to me. And they keep me hopping most of the time.
