Subject: Kimba's new home

I recently posted That one of my females, Kimba, had prolapsed and that I would be offering her to a family that would make her a good home. I am grateful to say she has found that home. I am posting an email I received from from Kimba's new home. I am posting it because I think it speaks very well for the Boerboel. Thanks Jane and John Doe for making a spot in your home for Kimba, have a great day, Jerry.
P.S. I have changed the names of the new owners because I have not checked to see if they would object to me posting their names.

Kimba is already very protective. I got home from work first yesterday, John about an hour later. When he opened the door, she put herself in front of me and barked at him until he came into the room and she could see who it was. She did the same thing when my mom stopped by (though she didn't stop barking until they were introduced). We're so proud that she's doing that so quickly. John of course says he feels much more comfortable having both girls (they have another female boerboel also) with me when he's not home.

Kimba is so intelligent and has adapted to her new situation so quickly it's just astonishing. She is confident and comfortable in herself, and is an all around fabulous girl! She's very energetic, but not high strung so we'll be taking her out to the farm with us to see how she does out there. I think her temperament is suited to it, so we'll take her out a few times and let her get comfortable and see how it goes. We'll keep you posted.

Thanks again!
Jane Doe
