Subject: What Does Your Test Consist Of?

I have read on this and other boards when discussing temperament tests that some breeders give their own. I am interested in exactly what compromises your test, and what happens if the dog taking the test shows by the results that he has weak temperament or temperament that is not up to the Boerboel standard. As an example I read that the SABT gave a temperament test at their last appraisal. If you took it, what did the dog have to undergo in this evaluation. I am asking this in an effort to gather information on what others are doing and not to be abrasive. The reason I feel that the Boerboel is in need of mental and physical standards are described in David Harris’s post, "Date Posted: 09:48:02 11/16/03 Sun Author: DKH Subject: The Historical Boerboel" which should be, in my opinion, required reading for all present and soon to be breeders. I assume, because there weren’t any responses, every one agrees with this position and that is good.
