My top 10 and thoughts for Miss Universe 2001

Miss Trinidad & Tobago.
Gorgeous hair, surely a top 10 contender.

Miss USA.
That froggy smile is her ticket to the semi's and finals.
She surely will shine.

Miss Panama.
The poise, the eleganza. She has it all and a little more.
No doubt she is the gal to be.

Miss Venezuela.
She is all Venezuela, and that's more than enough to say about this terrific young lady.

Miss Brazil.
I don't know why people continue to critizise her touch up at the surgeon, I believe her 91 surgeries are very natural looking, and that's what it counts.

Miss Mexico.
Her bright optimism and her fresh look is what's going to get this amazing girl as high as the stars.

Miss Philippines.
What can I say, she comes from the land of almost a powerhouse in beauty pageants, or so they think.
So don't count her out so soon, she is there to compete and so she'll do.

Miss India.
She is all brains, don't let her immaculate look fool you, she might look extremately alluring, but that glamour comes with a brain to match this pretty face.

Miss Puerto Rico.
No no no, she is NOT a rare beauty, and though everyone can see that, she is more than that, she might have undergone 4 surgeries so far, but as well as Brazil, those sacrifices have well paid off, she is the host country, and former Miss Universe: Dayanara Torres will be at the judge panel to make sure this lovely face gets its due. also with a body of a...Well uh, let's no talk about her body, just that is good enough, bottom line.

Miss Spain.
She is a shoe in for this competition, there is no really words to describe her beauty, she might not have much up there, but hey! she's got the look!

So what you guys think, aren't they gorgeous?
Well they surely are, that's why Puerto Rico will never be the same after the visit of this gorgeous young ladies.
It will be a fight to die for and to death.

It's nice to see there is still humour behind all the bashing, etc. Anyway, I think the "Miss Philippines" (LOL), even though she looks like a Vietnamese farmer, is the only one who looks half decent from the rest. And, yes, they are a powerhouse because they have consistently sent great delegates through out the years....the '90's and the 80's was just not their year in MU and MW. People we look at the above pictures of the "GORGOUS" competitors , but we have to keep inmind . i mean judging the above pics ; yes they are all beautfifull , I'd rather see a Miss Universe with brains .I can tell you this , based on those pics THE FIGHT FOR MISS PHOTOGENIC WILL BE BEYOND TOUGH !!!! I'd personally go with Miss Spain ...LOVE THE FACIAL HAIR ( that could work for her ) though Venezuela's layered chin could attract alot of attention from the judges . LOL!!!!! I dare you to place this on the MIss Usa Board. It should be rename to the Texas Usa Board, because the Texas crowd has taken it over. Miss VZ is a sure thing. She's the "total package". I've heard, however, she doesn't know anything about sports, so keeping my fingers crossed she doesn't get a sports fishbowl question. She's a chef and can answer anything about food. -- VIVA VZ!!!!!, 11:03:05 04/04/01 Wed
