Two things: Regarding Jill Scott, she had her crown taken away from her because she was not living with her husband. The fact that she expected to make a living as Mrs. America just goes to show where her head is at. Although I believe that you should be compensated for promoting the various sponsors, the true prize in being Mrs. America should be the honor of representing and promoting America's married women. Just so you know, Jill Scott has had a lot of legal troubles since her win at Mrs. America, many of them involving fraud on her part, and she has now been divorced twice. Not exactly the ideal representative. I don't blame the Marmels for not including her in the book. Secondly, regarding the fact that anyone over the age of 35 stays away from this system. I think they would be interested in knowing that the youngest contestant in the top 10 this past year was 29, the winner was 35, the 1stRU was 38, 2nd RU was 35, and 4th RU was 33. SO if they are shying away because of their age, then they are the ones who are cheating themselves out of the opportunity to become Mrs. America.
