Subject: Sunday evening jam session

I have some students (sax players) looking for jamming pals. We are trying to group up some beginners of various instrument to jam some basic blues, jazz standards and pop songs.

The aim is really to learn and improve with others while jamming. It's not gonna be a Kung Fu fighting jam, no high or low, no one care you missed a beat or played a wrong note. The only limit is your confidence and so-called self-respect. It's a good chance to try more variety in music and get to know more beginners to form ur own beginner band in the future.

Requirement is very basic:

- you can play 12 major and minor scales (not very fluent is ok too, coz you will benefit from the pressure in jamming, which will push yourself to practise more and more than you used to). Drummer no need this skill :0

- you can play all major, minor, dominant 7th chords. it's a great chance to practise and improve your experience and knowledge on major and minor ii-V-I chord changes. Drummer no need this neither :0

- can play in basic rock, swing and bossa nova feel. Drummer do need to do so too

- you are interested in jamming, blues and jazz

- if you are more qualify than above, you are welcome too, just try if you enjoy jamming with us and share music with us

- Time and place to be arranged. Not much charge other than sharing studio rent

I am a very beginner of alto SAX that I am sure not qualified to jam in SAX, but can I be an observer?
I am also a drumer, approaching medium level. Or may I jam in drum?
