(HKJENS) WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Do you like listening to SWING and BIG BAND music? Do you want to use your own instrument to play in a big band environment? Join us and enjoy a night of practicing big band music twice a month in our group - JAZZ ENSEMBLE NIGHT! Our ensemble meeting in T.S.T. starts from 20:00pm to 22:00pm on every 2nd & 4th Thursday night of each month.

We are looking for:

Guitarist-
Guitarist with BIG BAND EXPERIENCE preferred.

Pianist-
Pianist must have GRADE 8 LEVEL or above.

Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophonist,Trumpeter,Trombonist-
Reed and Brass players must have GRADE 3 LEVEL or above.

Our music score requires instrumental skill level of approximately ABRSM classical grade 3. Ability to read swing music is an advantage. The core of the repertoire are standards that we will play and practice the big band hits of the swing era (1920-1950)��s by famous musicians, composers and bandleaders including Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman and more.
