Maybe this will ring a bell. During that time period, Tim Michels, who owned Hank, made a few strong line bred crosses using Ole Sam and Clark's Dixie who were both out of Shiner. Females used were Okaw Valley Lu-Lu, Hoosier Cadillac, Okaw Valley Cotton, Okaw Valley Diner. Now the mother to Ole Sam was named Lady which she was used several times by different breeders. Just throwing that in there to see if it rang a bell.....sparkie
