I'm no turkey hunter and I don't mean to one up anybody but I've shot one turkey and all I knew is it had a beard and was leagal. The beard was 12 5/8 inches long. It's the longest I've seen, though I'm sure there is longer. It was quite a thrill and pretty fun too. I have too many dogs to work to put any real time into hunting other things but that was a pretty tastey bird and I'm thinking about going this spring again. Good luck everybody.
