Subject: Looking for Leopard in IL

Howdy all.

Just posting to say I am still looking for a Leopard to buy, buy 1/2 interest, or hunt for someone. If you know of anyone that has something, or you have something, please let me know.

I am looking for a 2-4 year old mostly finished dog (male or female). Loud mouth, good track dog, good tree dog. Not ill, not bad to look at. Hopefully the dog will already be ALCBA perm registered, but if not, I will take care of it. Also, I prefer the dog to be UKC registered. Again, if not, I will take care of it.

I'm looking for a dog to make a GRNT in the UKC hunts, and hunt at major UKC events (Autumn Oaks, Breed Days, etc) and the ALCBA major events. The dog has to have the ability to win in comp hunts, at any level. I know not any dog is going to win EVERY cast, but I want them to win enough to make a mark on the hunts.

I don't have a lot of money, so if you have a dog you want $25,000 for, don't write me. I'm just trying to "break into" Leopard hounds and I want to do well in the hunts. A few months ago I looked and didn't find anything, but I didn't look REAL hard, bacause we don't have any UKC Cur/Feist hunts around here. Now I'm looking a little harder. I'm a little shy, so I don't just pick up the phone too much and call people I don't know from the magazines to talk. I just post and hope someone will email me and give me a line on a good dog.

Hopefully I will find something to buy or buy 1/2 in my price range. I really want to get a good dog I can win with, and then start my own breeding program off of that.
