Question # 7 on the "survey" concerning white actually read:
Where should any white be in the % allowed? feet and chest only___ feet, lower legs, chest and underneath body___
feet and chest, lower legs, underneath body, neck____
feet and chest, lower legs, underneath body, tip of tail, end of nose____.
This is what the survey asked. No where on the survey did it ask if the white could be located just anywhere on the body. This is of great concern with some of the leopard owners. Several leopard spotted dogs have some white spots on the upper part of the body, including on their backs, and want to register them as long as they have no more that one third white.
Before this survey was ever mailed out, this issue was already changed on the back of the registration papers without any input from the survey or the association. The association and registration are supposed to endeavor to work together as per the association by-laws. As you can clearly see, this is not happening. Dan N
