Subject: Survey % of white

It is no secret that Jed and I would prefer that the standard on amount of white be less than the 1/3 (or 33 and 1/3%) white currently followed, however the survey indicates that a majority prefer the current standard. So that is what it will be.

There are very few ALCBA dogs that even have 10% white. I certainly don't want mine to look like Walkers, or Goodmans etc. That is a common comment I hear, even from some of you who prefer the 1/3 white standard. Close to half of the pups I have raised have no white at all, not even one white hair. I have never raised one that had even 10% white. In fact, very very few even approach having 5%.

The results in order are as follows:
53% voted for 33 and 1/3%
11% voted for 10%
8% voted for 5%
8% voted for 20%
6% voted for 25%
5% voted for 40%
5% voted for 15%
5% voted for 66 and 2/3%

So the standard will be 1/3 (33 and 1/3%) white maximum allowed. Thanks to those of you who took the time to fill out and return the surveys!
