Subject: Wanted: Young Leopard Cur stared on bobcats !

I'm wanting a young leopard cur that is started on bocats, would prefer a female. Doesn't have to be started on hogs I can do that myself. Doesn't need to be a broke dog or anything special, must be 15 months or under doesn't have to be a stay put tree dog, just so long as it will jump & run the hair off a bobcat by itself. I will be doing all of my bobcat huntin' during daylight hours. I will break the dog off everything that I want to break it off of myself. So anybody thats got a youg dog that they can't get to tree please give me a call. The reason I need a 15 month or younger dog is that I want one that hasn't developed habits that can't be broke, plus at that age I can start still start them on hogs. I have had Walker Running hounds all my life, also beagles & coonhounds(English & Treeing Walker). I have some Black Mouth/Rodesin Ridgeback cross dogs that am hunting now they are gonna make good hog dogs but they don't hunt to suit me, I'm use to my coyote hounds & deer beagles that when you send down a ridge huntin' & you don't see them again till there runnin'. The dogs I'm hog huntin' & everybody else's I've hunted with you ( except 1 plott gyp & I own 2 pups out of her! ) have to walk them into where your gonna hunt then when they hit a hog you don't even know it until the pigs squealing, then they finally bark a little bit! Hogs in Missouri aren't thick yet, they are scattered bad, I figure I'll bocat hunt & if the dogs get after a pig thats good to! The leopard cur breed apeals to me because they open on track & still hunt like hound yet they have the speed, grit,& brains of a cur dog. Please call I like to talk hounds & huntin' any time, & willing to learn all I can about the American Leopard Cur.
