I have a 1972 yearbook with a list of the members. There were only 129 members at that time, that is just nine more than we have right now, 45 years later. Last year, that alcba had 235 paid members. I found my first dues card attached to the yearbook, that was in 1973. There were four or five members in the 72 yearbook who are still members today. They were Tommy Byrd, Rex Bowers, Rick Brooks, Rex Laker, Jim Summers and Don Sorrell.
I thought that was kind of interesting. These fellas have been loyal members of the alcba and I they all still own leopards. There were 14 ads in that yearbook. We must do more to promote our membership, our yearbook and our leopards. Dan N
