For now, We are doing what Steve was doing and that is...If a dog can be traced back to a generation of all ALCBA registered dogs and if his UKC papers (not a copy) are sent in with the fee and a picture, the dog can be "Appendix" registered. This assumes that the dogs meets our standards and the person is an ALCBA member etc. The actual UKC papers would be photcopied and the orginal UKC papers sent back to the owner with the new ALCBA pedigree and registration certificate. Any comments or suggestions? I would be happy to talk to anyone about this.

We are processing registration papers now, but still have not been able to implement everything we want to do. The computer program has some shortcomings that are being worked on by the software designer/producer of WinPed. We want to do a whole lot more in the way of improvements. Hopefully we will be able improve the design and appearance of the pedigrees to what we have planned and real soon. We went ahead and started issuing papers, because of the time delays, but we are not happy with them as yet. What you see now will change/improve and we hope soon.
Randy
