Dave, In a lot of the early day Leopards, especialy McDuffie and Southern Missouri bred Leopards, I came across several dogs that would not change over to a new owner. You would swear that some of these dogs was not worth 15 cents. This has been a problem for a long time. I think that a lot of this so called fault has been bred out of them with a lot of outcrossed that have been made in the last few years. It really seems to me this is what has happened with your dog because I don't think that Mr. Femlee would have kept a dog very long like this by the description you have given. A Leopard 8 years old is not a old dog by any means. I think a smart dog will not have too much trouble switching over to another game if this is what his new owner wants him to. Don't know if you have had any Leopards in the past but I have seen it happened quite often and I know I have made some mistakes by getting rid of some of the Leopards I have had in the past. Please understand I'm not testing your knowledge about Leopards, just relating to a lot of things I have seen the last 30 years.....sparkie
