Subject: Iowa State Hunt

I'm back from the Iowa State Hunt and my cast did not strike one coon the shole night. That whould be a record for Rachel...one that I would like to forget. I did see Mark Dreste at the hunt and got to chat with him a while. He had Whisky with him and they came in with some plus points. Stacey Stoll hunted my Buddy dog and saw coon. Unfortunately it got caught on the ground. But he did tree another. We were all on different casts. It would have been fun to get all three on the same cast but I would not have picked the places I hunted to be where we went. East wind, near full moon. Could have been better but it was a great temp. out and very nice to be in the woods even if all it ended up being was a walk for me. The Mn. state hunt is in a couple of weeks and I think I'll be there. Nowere to go but up! Hope to see some more of you there.
