there is also a board of directors for people to contact. if anyone has something they want to discuss at the meeting and they cant make it get ahold of one of the directors or your closest rep.As a member you do have a say in what happens at the meeting if you use all of the resources avalible to you.although not much usually happens at the meetings.
since i am on here i would like to state that i disagree that a handfull of members make decisions for the association.I counted the members in the year book today I counted 152 members. we did have a very small turn out in Indiana last year and I would say we had about 30 people there for the meeting.I didnt count them but that would be my guess.the year before that in Illinois there was enough people that it would have been to crowded to have the meeting inside the club house so we had it outside. In general i think we have good turn outs for the meeting just because you werent there doesnt meen nobody els was. and as it has been said before some do drive a long way to come Jim schulz has a 17hr drive one way and he still comes every couple of years.the guys from virginia and north carolina have about a 13hr drive when the hunt is held in Illinois and some of them come almost every time.
and there are several others that drive a long distence.I think we all would like to see more members show up at the hunts.mabe you could try and come every few years.everyone really does have a good time.
