Pat had her 4th surgery yesterday since last Wednesday. Her kidneys shut down last Thursday and she had stints put in, then those quit working and they put in external drain tubes yesterday. This will buy us some time to fight the cancer. You can't live long without kidneys, and in her case even diolisis (however that is spelled), will not work. The kidney problem is outside pressure causing them to not function. She had 1,800 ml drained from on lung and 1,600 ml from the other on Wednesday, which is a lot. It was a wonder she didn't suffocate. She also had her lungs drained again Friday and they did a process called "gluing" which seals the lining and walls of the lungs together to keep the liquid from collecting there and sets a better barrier to hopefully keep the cancer out of her lungs. It is around them now. Prayer is appreciated! Randy
