Subject: Wi State Hunt

I went to the Wi. State Hunt last weekend and had a great time. The chili was good, the hunt was fun and I got to see some of my old pals. I hunted Rachel and she did a good jod and was in the lead with 325+ but with 18 min. left we ended a timeout and cast the dogs to a slough. I called Rachel for first and first but it sounded like she and the other dog with her were in a hole. Sure enough as we went into the tree they both came off trailing and took something out of there through a cornfield and toward a farm house (cat most likely). Still had a blast though! She would have beat the first p[lace dog by 175+ and no minus. Maybe next time.
