Can anyone understand the payout for Nascar???
I know how it "supposed" to go... it's based on finishing order, purse size of the track, team owner points, popularity, years racing, sponsorship deals,sponsor/team connections with the track... and on and on.
I want to know if anyone can understand why (lets pick two at random)it can be soooo out of whack?

Dale Jr. (yeah, random) 4th in points
1 win, 4 top 5's,6 top 10's $2,268,100

Casey Mears 13th in points
0 wins, 1 top 5, 3 top 10's $2,582,930
