Subject: OMG - Flooding!!!

It was pouring rain when I left work last night. In total we got 4.57 inches (some places got 6 inches), I was very fortunate that the actual flooding didn't start until after I got home. All the major freeways that I normally would take to work were closed this morning. It looked like a waterfall on some of the freeways, coming down the embankments and the roads themselves were like rivers. Some cars were totally underwater - some semis had water higher than their tires. The place I work was closed (that hardly ever happens!). They showed one overpass where the water under it was 15 feet deep! They say one of our security gates has major damage from the flooding (it was getting deep when I left work). Don't know if we will be open tomorrow ore not. Just wanted to let you know...
