Yesterday it was really windy here and it might have gotten up to 50. We had a fire alarm and were outside in that for 10 minutes. Not good with no jacket! Today is less windy but still chilly. The weather is supposed to be good until Sunday, then rain. This woman I know's daughter is getting married in an apple orchard Saturday - she joked that they would all be in long underwear!

When I cook a turkey (20 pounds), I wrap it in aluminum foil (butter the foil to keep it from sticking) and cook it at 450 degrees for 3 hours (use meat thermoneter in thigh to check for doneness). If you want it really brown, open the foil for the last few minutes.
