Subject: Hey, everyone

It's COLD here - temp is single digits and feels like 1 degree!!! I was supposed to work I day this week (today) and then be back full-time next Tuesday. Well, yesterday, coming up the basement stairs, my knee gave out on the top step and knowing I was falling, I turned so I would land on my butt and not on my knees, which are already bad. In doing that I twisted both knees. I could hardly walk last night. I had the dialysis people come out to my car with a wheelchair and then when I got home, I had my neighbor's husband come over and help me go the 15 steps to my porch from the car. Needless to say, I am staying home on sick leave today as I am still hurting. I don't have to be anywhere until tomorrow night's dialysis so I am just going to lie around and watch TV, hoping the knees will start feeling better, sooner rather than later.
