This story is the sequel to All I Ask, which I posted a LONG LONG time ago. It's archived at Ranma's, and I recently reposted it at LFN Storyboard 1.

You don't need the sequel to understand the basics of this story, but there are references back to it, and references to an event in Madeline's past that came to light in it.
